Our people are the very core of Mina. Attracting and retaining diverse talent is something we aspire to develop and maintain as our business grows.
In today’s world trust is an important value to have in both employer and employees, which is why for example Mina has taken a dynamic approach in updating our annual leave policy to allow employees to schedule their own time off without the need of any approval.
Employees also have complete flexibility when it comes to working, and have the opportunity to work in the studio or at home to suit their needs – no questions asked!
These small but impactful gestures really do make a difference when attracting new talent.
Introducing Luke and Daniel
Luke sits at the intersection of design and development and thrives on designing a positive user experience whilst building scalable, fast loading websites.
He’s worked at a range of large and small businesses over the past 10 years and has provided blog content in Web Designer publications and on various digital platforms.
He dreams of one day being able to write and publish his very own tech book!
Outside of work, Luke enjoys climbing, although he admits he’s not massively great at it!
Daniel flourishes off improving the customer experience by using simple but innovative methods. Bridging the gap between design and development is where he fits best.
He views team togetherness and friendship as one of the most important factors of a job, and will be at the forefront of organising any team bonding or social events (lucky us!!).
Passionate about the environment, Daniel dreams of having a fully eco home in the future.
Mina’s Principal UX Developer, Laurie Nicholas comments: “Dan and Luke each represent some of the best UX development talent in the country. The fact that we’re able to attract people like this to work at Mina shows we’ve struck the sweet spot of interesting and impactful work.”
